A Nigeria Air Force plane early this morning crashed in Kaduna with all seven people on board killed.
The plane , a Dornier Jet 228 was on its way from Kaduna Airforce Base to Abuja , before it suddenly crashed between two houses at the NDA Ribadu Cantonment .
Witnesses said the plane wobbled in the air before finally crashing. There were three crew members and four passengers aboard the plane.
The Airforce jet , according to a military source who confirmed the incident, crashed at the old site of the Nigeria Defence Academy , NDA at about 6.30am .
“We heard a loud sound like bomb blast. When we came out to confirm what it was , we saw flames. After tracing the site , we then discovered that it was an Airforce jet that crashed ,”the source said.
He equally hinted that the jet which crashed within residential area at the NDA barrack also injured some persons on ground.
