Star Music Trek Concert: Wizkid Showers Ibadan Fans with Cash

Afro-pop music star, Wizkid, was at his best on Saturday 22 August at the Star Music Trek Ibadan concert at Trans Amusement Park, Samonda, Ibadan, Oyo State, as he repeatedly showered the mammoth crowd with bundles of cash while performing his hit track, “Show You the Money”.

At the show, sponsored by leading beer Star Lager, Wizkid not only blessed his fans with cash but delivered one of his best performances and thrilled with many of his hit songs including, ‘Ojuelegba’.

The concert also featured blockbuster performances from Sound Sultan, Wande Coal, May D, Chidinma and Fuji star Pasuna. DJ Xclusive and DJ Nana were behind the wheel of steels.

Meanwhile, May D also caused a huge stir at the concert when he made his stage entrance atop electronic drift board.

A shocked cry of “Ooh!” went through more than 10,000 fans present at the concert as the hit maker seemed to glide onto the stage without moving his feet before he stepped off the drift board and launched into his typically energetic performance.

Ace comedian Gbenga Adeyinka was the host.
