Courtois foul earns Chelsea a draw with Swansea

Courtois: red carded

Jose Mourinho himself predicted it, that winning English Premier League, back to back, is increasingly difficult.

He got the jolt to reality today at Stamford Bridge, when his team was held 2-2 by Swansea.

Chelsea led the visitors 2-1, until the 52nd minute, when the keeper Thibault Courtois fouled Swansea attacker, Bafétimbi Gomis, inside the box.

Courtois was punished with a red card, with Swansea’s Gomis seizing the opportunity to level scores.

Courtois will also serve a suspension for the red card.
