From 57 senators who unanimously backed his presidency on June 9, Senator Bukola Saraki now has 81 senators, out of 108 in his support. The number now includes 32 APC senators out of 59.
No wonder Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun said Monday night that the party will resolve the leadership tussle in a different manner:
“ Senate is a different level and different situation. It is totally different if only we have sore thumb in the form of a PDP Deputy Senate President. So I think it is totally different and the approach and the way we are going to handle the situation will be totally different. But at the end of the day even the Senate issue will be sorted out too,” Oyegun said.
