Google is spending £70,000 to, according to a Daily Mail report, hire the Valley of the Temples in Sicily to host its annual team-building get together.

Bosses at the search engine colossus will, as the report indicates, follow in the almighty footsteps of the likes of Zeus and Hercules by celebrating their successes in the 2,500 year-old ruins, once worshipped by the Greeks.

“Running from today until Thursday, the web giants – founded by computing engineers Larry Page and Sergey Brin – will”, according to the report, welcome their top tier of staff and a host of high powered guests to dine in the ancient site off Italy’s southern coast.
