Penuel Mnguni, 24, the leader of the End Times Disciples Ministries church in Soshanguve, north of Pretoria, according to a report by graphic.com.gh, told the congregation he had “the authority to change everything into anything and it will obey because of our authority”. Thus, made some of the church members to open their mouths to eat raw snake.
Earlier this year, he ordered his members to take off their clothes after which he sat on them, praying. “He then jumped on a female congregant he was praying for while the rest of the congregation sang and danced in celebration,” the report indicated.
Mnguni who, at a point, made his congregants eat a weave off a female church member’s head because, as he said, the weave had turned into nutritious food that would do no harm to their health, is following the footsteps of Rabboni Ministries’ leader Prophet Lesego Daniel, who made headlines a few years ago for making his congregation eat grass. Pastor Daniel, last year, made churchgoers drink petrol because, as he persuaded them, this would turn into Fanta Pineapple flavoured drink.
