Colonel Sambo Dasuki, the recently sacked National Security Adviser, may have been arrested by operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS.

There was no official confirmation of the arrest yet.

But a report by Premium Times indicated that DSS operatives simultaneously stormed Dasuki’s homes in Abuja and Sokoto on Thursday and disarmed the security men keeping watch there.

Reports said Dasuki is being wanted to account for the trillions budgeted for Nigeria’s defence spendings under his watch.

Dasuki, a former ADC to General Ibrahim Babangida was appointed NSA by former President Jonathan on 22 June, 2012.

There we go again……third world scare tactics based on coercive use of access to force. Very soon soldiers will start whipping citizens with koboko and carrying on like each of them have three testicles. If Dasuki has a case to answer you prepare the case and present it to a designated judge of jurisdiction who will sign an order for Dasuki’s arrest. The message they are trying to send is “if you served in government better lie low otherwise we will come and arrest you”. If Dasuki did some shit while in office then bring his ass to answer for it in a judicious manner not resorting to tired and discarded despotic tactics which are reviled in all civilized communities
