Boko Haram has released a new video in which it flaunts its firepower somewhere in Nigeria’s north east.
The precise location of the video was not indicated in the video published by Mail Online.
The ten minute-long propaganda video, which appears more like an exhibition stunt, begins with Boko Haram militants, firing an assortment of weapons, including heavy mortar grenades, to unseen enemies.
Then it shows them standing proudly next to the corpses of scorched ‘Nigerian troops’ – and showing off their security badges to the camera.
The video ends with the senseless murder of a captured ‘soldier’.
With a look of true horror on his face, the man kneels in front of three masked Boko Haram fanatics – two of whom point AK47s at his head.
The video then cuts to reveal his decapitated body lying motionless on the floor. But the ID card shown in the video does not belong to a Nigerian soldier. It simply states: Nigerian Security
