He is Alhaji Ahmed Sulaiman who served in the same capacity in the 1990’s. His appointment takes effect immediately.
The Permanent Secretary, Government House,Bauchi Alhaji Hashimu Yakubu who announced the appointment said Sulaiman is a seasoned technocrat and the former Chairman of the state Local Government Service Commission.
Governor Abubakar also approved the appointment of Audu Sule-Katagum, as Chief of Staff, Alhaji Bello Illelah, Special Adviser on Civil Service, Umar Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Deputy Chief of Staff at the Deputy Governor’s Office and Alhaji Tahir

Others appointed are Alhaji Umar Bala as Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties, Hajiya Aisha Borodo and Hajiya Zainab Muhammad were appointed as Senior Special Assistants to the Governor’s wife while Alhaji Mansur Soro, appointed as the Personal Assistant to the governor on Development Partners and NGOs.
