The future of Nigeria’s midfielder John Mikel Obi is uncertain at English champions Chelsea this summer.

While Chelsea are keen to tie down Brazil ‘ s Ramires in a new contract, all indications are that Jose Mourinho will allow the Nigerian to leave Stamford Bridge during the transfer window after finding his first-team chances restricted.

Mikel now 28-year-old Has Been Linked With Several Teams In Greece and Italy.

Meanwhile Chelsea have opened talks with midfielder Ramires over a bumper new contract.

Initial discussions regarding a new long-term deal for the Brazil international have commenced and will continue over the summer.

Ramires’ attitude has impressed Jose Mourinho since his return to Stamford Bridge in 2013 and the Special One is keen to reward the former Benfica star with a contract extension.

His current £65,000-per-week deal expires in 2017 and the Blues want to ensure there is no uncertainty over his long-term future.

The 27-year-old has been an integral member of Chelsea’s squad since his arrival in 2010.
