Robbers have raided banks in Ikorodu, the largest town West of Lagos and carted away lots of cash.
The attacks happened today at Ipakodo and Ogolonto areas of the industrial town, the second such attack in recent weeks.
According to a report by P.M.News, the bandits escaped by ferry.
The Nigerian Police claimed to have responded to the attack s, but it was unclear whether they were able to smash the robberies.
An eyewitness who spoke to Channels Television during the News said she saw at least four men who were not wearing masks loading money into a Sienna van on the road as the robbery was going on in Ogolonto.
