Petrol tanker falls off Lagos bridge, destroys homes, shops, cars

No fewer than 21 vehicles, forty four shops and three houses were destroyed by fire, caused by a petrol truck that fell off a Lagos bridge in Lagos early today and exploded.

The accident happened on the Iyana-Ipaja bridge in the Lagos suburb around 2a.m. Governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode raced to the scene to sympathise with the people.
