•Tambuwal: winning big in Sokoto state

The governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress in both Kebbi and Sokoto states appear set to defeat their Peoples Democratic Party rivals in the two states.

In official results released so far in Kebbi, the APC candidate, Senator Abubakar Bagudu is ahead Aliero LG, with 14,958 votes, while his PDP rival, Sarkin Yakin Bello trailed with 6,923.
The APC candidate also won in Kalgo and Argungu councils with large margins, polling 13,032 and 28,127 votes. The PDP garnered 8,493 and 14,070 votes in the two councils.

Senator Bagudu: leads in kebbi

In Sokoto state, Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal appears unstoppable in succeeding Governor Aliyu Wammako in May. In the results released by INEC for 20 LGAs, Tambuwal has won all, with large margins.
