Governor Ibikunle Amosun of the All Progressives Congress,APC is gradually coasting home for the second term in office as most of the results released so far is in his favour.
With official results released in 17 local government councils, the APC candidate is leading the vote tally, having won with wide margin in 10 local government areas, while PDP won in seven.
Results released this morning has the APC winning in Ado -Odo/Ota with 36,108 votes with PDP polled 13,763.
In Yewa South local government,the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP won the area with 12,915 votes while APC polled 10,844 votes.
Result from Ipokia local government showed the APC losing the area with just 637 votes. While PDP won with 16,877 votes,APC polled a very close point of 16,240 votes.
The result from Ijebu North which is the stronghold of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP being the hometown of the Ogun East Senator elect,Prince Buruj Kashamu showed the PDP polling 18,787, while the APC got 14,317 votes.
The APC also won Sagamu local government with 18,491 votes. PDP got 14,011 votes.
Meanwhile,the remaining three local government councils being expected now are; Ijebu East,Ogun Waterside and Yewa North
