FA Cup defending champions Arsenal have avoided the highest-ranking possible opponents left in the competition after being drawn to face Bradford City or Reading in the semi-final.
The Gunners could have drawn Premier League rivals Liverpool, with the Merseyside club drawn to face Aston Villa instead; given they must first win a yet-to-be-scheduled quarterfinal replay at Blackburn Rovers.
Arsenal though would still be wary of one of their possible semi-final opponents, having been shocked out of the 2013 League Cup by Bradford City at the quarterfinal stage.
The League One outfit have also been in giant killing form in the FA Cup, beating Premier League duo Chelsea and Sunderland on their way to reaching the last eight.
This year’s FA Cup semifinals are scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of April 18 and 19.
