In a tweet today, Reuben Abati posted the photograph of some Yoruba Obas performing a traditional blessing for President Goodluck Jonathan, at the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Sijuade.

The tweet did not identify the Obas.
President Jonathan has been on a frenetic campaign in the South West of Nigeria, with the belief that the region holds the key to his re-election in the 28 March election, against the opposition candidate, Maj. General Muhammadu Buhari.
Yoruba Obas however are not known to have the political control of their people.
