Another fire on the middle floor of a plaza at Idumota market in Lagos happened today, weeks after a similar disaster.
The gutted building was housing mostly imported textiles. Goods worth thousands of dollars were destroyed. The cause of the fire was not immediately known but Lagos fire fighters were on hand to stop the fire spreading to nearby plazas in Lagos Island.
