Tottenham to battle Chelsea in League Cup final

Sheffield United players: knocked out by Tottenham

Tottenham set up an all-London League Cup final against Chelsea when they drew 2-2 with Sheffield United on Wednesday in the second leg of their semi-final for a 3-2 aggregate win.

Christian Eriksen scored both of Spurs’ goals either side of two strikes by teenage substitute Che Adams.

On Tuesday, Branislav Ivanovic’s extra-time header sent Chelsea into the final at Liverpool’s expense as the London club edged a breathless semi-final second leg 1-0.

The Serbian’s goal gave Jose Mourinho’s side a 2-1 aggregate win, taking them into the March 1 final against their London rivals.
