World Number one, Serena Williams displayed out-of-character tennis today in Perth as she slumped to a three set defeat by Poland’s Agnieszka Radwanska in the Hopman Cup final.
Serena, most times struggling to move, lost the first set 4-6, Then she struggled to win the second set in a tie breaker. In the third set, the American simply melted to a 1-6 thrashing by Radwanska. It was the Polish’s girl’s first ever victory over Serena.
Serena’s team mate, John Isner is scheduled to meet Poland’s Jerzy Janowicz, before the doubles match is played later today, to decide the winner of the Hopman Cup.
