Wammako commends APC delegates for good conduct

Governor Aliyu Wamakko of of the northern Nigerian state of Sokoto on Tuesday commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates for demonstrating political maturity that led to the successful conduct of the party primary elections in
the state.

Wamakko told newsmen in Sokoto that the discipline exhibited by the delegates across the state was responsible for the
smooth conduct of the exercise.

He called on party members to continue to exhibit high sense of political decorum for the overall political growth of
the state.

Wamakko also expressed confidence in the ability of the party’s candidates to provide the required leadership that
will ensure the rapid political growth of the state.

”The APC- led administration will continue to ensure the provision of good democratic governance,” the governor
promised.

Wamakko also called on the electorate to ensure that they acquired their voter cards to ensure the victory of
the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

He said that the voter card remained a tool needed to ensure good democratic governance and expressed optimism
that the party’s candidates will deliver.

Wamakko called on the candidates to shun violence and thuggery to ensure peaceful conduct of the electoral processes.

He said that” as progressives, all hands should be geared towards providing a peaceful political platform that will
see to the smooth conduct of the 2015 general elections
