Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has stated a couple of countries are waiting to sign him up in the event of him being shown the exit by Nigeria following a dire start to 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifying.
Nigeria, who are defending African champions, has failed to win any of her opening three qualifying matches to find themselves bottom of the qualifying group with just one point and needing a win against Sudan on Wednesday to keep alive hopes of reaching Morocco 2015.
In the face of steering the Super Eagles through a testing period however, Keshi stated ”If tomorrow they say ‘Keshi leave’, there is no shaking because other two, three countries are waiting. My job is about hire and fire.”
The former Mali and Togo coach added ”Right now I have been to other places I have coached before I have not been fired. If it comes down to Nigeria, I have been here before, qualified Nigeria for 2002 World Cup with Amodu Shaibu, we were asked to leave.”
Keshi, who was previously linked with taking up the South Africa job after the 2014 World Cup, has now been linked recently to West African duo Gabon and Equatorial Guinea as well as Angola.
