Google has removed Linda Ikeji’s blog from Google Blogspot.

Linda, former beauty queen, is the most popular blogger in Nigeria, and her posts enjoyed the most visits after Nairaland.

Linda in recent days had come under attacks by fellow bloggers over copyright violations.

One of the complainants, cybersquatter with the twitter handle ‘AyeDee’ petitioned Google, with Google removing some of the alleged stolen articles.

Today, Google went ahead to remove the blog, with the address: lindaikeji.blogspot.com.

Visitors to the site were confronted with the notice by Google: “Blog has been removed

Sorry, the blog at lindaikeji.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.”

Linda is however still available on a mobile platform: lindaikeji.mobi
