The burial rites for Late Pastor Dimgba Uguru Igwe veteran editor and vice chairman of the board of Sun Newspapers began in Lagos yesterday with a service of songs at the Evangel Pentecostal Church, Okota.
He was the deputy general overseer of the church before his death.
The final burial ceremony would hold in his hometown of Okafia, Igbere, in Bende Local Government Area of Abia state on 11 October.
Igwe, 58 years old, died in an accident on 6 September in Lagos, after he was knocked down by yet to be arrested hit and run driver.
He was jogging on the street near his Okota residence.
