Former Minister of Federal Capital Territory , FCT , Malam Nasir El’Rufai today has declared his intention to contest the governorship seat of Kaduna state on the platform of All Progressives Congress.

According to El’Rufai , the decision to vie the governorship seat is out of the desire to rescue Kaduna from bad leadership and economic backwardness.

“PDP has been in power in Kaduna for over 14 years and there is nothing tangible on ground to show”, he said.

He spoke at a ceremony at Kaduna APC Secretariat after donating seven branded cars to the party for mobility during forthcoming 2015 campaigns.

The former Minister said it’s high time reliable and committed leaders wrest powers from the “Failed PDP” in Kaduna.

While calling on the electorate to vote out PDP in all elections , he also promised to give all citizens in the state a sense of belonging by providing the desired leadership that improve their lots and overall development of the state.
