According to a statement made available in Abuja on Wednesday, Mr Hanson Igwe, the deceased’s elder brother, said the burial programme would start with a funeral service at his residence in Okota, Lagos, on 4 October.
The statement said that the funeral service would hold at the deceased’s hometown in Okafia, Igbere, in Bende Local Government Area of Abia.
Dimgba, a seasoned journalist and Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), was knocked down by a fast moving vehicle while he was jogging around his residence in the Okota area of Lagos on 6 September.
The 58-year-old passed away at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) from injuries sustained.
