Crystal Palace Appoint Warnock as Manager

Neil Warnock has been appointed as manager of Premier League club Crystal Palace, signing a deal to keep him at Selhurst Park till 2016.

Warnock returns to Selhurst Park for a second spell, having managed the club for three years before leaving for Queens Park Rangers in 2010.

The 65-year old manager comes in as replacement for Tony Pulis, who left the club less than 48 hours to the start of the season following a disagreement with the club over its transfer policy.

Warnock previously led Sheffield United to promotion to the Premier League in 2006 and saw Palace to the Championship play-offs during his first spell at the club.

He is now tasked with keeping the London club in the top flight., starting with the Premier League match against Newcastle United on Saturday.
