Arsenal have won the 2014 FA Cup title and equalled the record for most FA Cup wins after coming from two goals down to claim a 3-2 win over Hull City in a pulsating final match at the Wembley Stadium.

Having easily won the last two meetings between both sides, Arsenal found themselves shocked after just nine minutes as Hull had taken a 2-0 lead courtesy of strikes from James Chester and Curtis Davies.

Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla pulled one back for Arsenal midway through the first half with a well struck free-kick as the Londoners began to impose themselves on Hull.

French defender Laurent Koscielny then scrambled in the Arsenal equaliser midway through the second half as the match finished 2-2 after 90 minutes.

Olivier Giroud came close to putting Arsenal ahead after four minutes in first half of extra-time but saw his looping header bounce off the Hull City crossbar.

The French striker would later turn provider with a backheeled pass to Aaron Ramsey who fired in the Arsenal winner after 110 minutes played.

The win is Arsenal’s 11th FA Cup triumph, the most won by a club, along with Manchester United. Both clubs are also the joint holders for most final appearances in the competition, reaching 18 finals each.

The FA Cup title also ends what was a nine year wait for a major title at Arsenal, with the last title won coincidentally coming in the final of the FA Cup in 2005.
