Work is on-going on the bridge (over Adiyan river) linking Giwa Oke Aro with Olambe in Ifo Local government Area of Ogun state (see photo).

Thus, residents of Olambe, Matogun, Akute, Abule Ekun, Abule Osho, Osere and others will soon heave a sigh of relief as they will be able to link Lagos via Ishaga or the Lagos Ibadan Expressway without stress.

The bridge is part of the 32-kilometre, six lane road that the Ibikunle Amosun government in Ogun State is constructing from Ijoko to Ojodu, Lagos. It was awarded last July to Messrs Prado E. Mercedos, a Brazilian construction firm which began work last November.
