When 276 school girls were abducted by Boko Haram on the night of 14–15 April 2014, from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria, the government of Nigeria was at its wit’s end till the international community made offers of support.
Meanwhile, the sect has released chilling videos of the missing girls. According to a Daily Mail report, Boko Haram revealed that the captives had all been forced to convert to Islam and “will only be released if Islamist prisoners are freed.”
