 Bags of rice and he-goats are among the prizes at stake on Friday night when the 33Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Bauchi, hosts civilian populace to an end of year party and raffle draws,

A statement issued by the Brigade’s acting spokesman, Capt. Sunday Akinkunmi, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bauchi, indicated that the annual event would take place at the Brigade’s Officers Mess, Shadawanka Barracks, Bauchi.

According to him, the event is one of the social functions organised to “foster cordial relationship among officers and their friends”, as well as “promote civil/military relationship in the society.”

“The main activities of the event will include Raffle Draws,’Tombola’ game proper and social interaction, among others.

“Fabulous prices and gifts to be won by attendees include television set, bags of rice, refrigerators, water dispensers, micro waves, goats and generators, among others.

“We therefore invite all our civilian friends corps members,and students of institutions of higher learning within and around Bauchi, to attend,” he said.
