The people of Kogi State state have been enjoined to keep faith with the present administration in its effort to ensure their well being.

The Deputy Governor of the state, Elder Simon Achuba, made the remark when he led fellow pilgrims from the state to the Mountain of Transfiguration as part of their activities in the Holy Land.

Elder Achuba said just as the miracle of the Transfiguration happened after intensive prayers from Jesus Christ, so also will the fortunes of Kogi State turn around after the painstaking process of getting rid of ghost workers from government payroll.

According to him, Kogi state will soon witness a turn around in all sectors of the state as government, under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello, is working round the clock to ensure the growth and development of the
state.

The Deputy Governor assured that once the civil service is free of ghost workers, salary will become consistent and regular as at when due.

He noted that government is also perfecting plans to simulate other sectors of the state economy.

Elder Achuba expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their patience and support to the administration under the leadership of Alhaji Bello and urged them to maintain the tempo.

He expressed optimism that abundance will soon follow the economic hardship faced by Nigerians. Prayers were offered by the pilgrims for the nation, the Governor and members of his cabinet.
