The Edo Government has set up 19-member Transition Committee to ensure smooth handover of administration by Gov Adams Oshiomhole to Godwin Obaseki on Nov. 12.

 

Peter Okhiria, Chief Press Secretary to Oshiomhole disclosed this in Benin on Monday.

 

Okhiria said Prof. Julius Ihonvbere is Chairman of the Committee while Messrs Henry Idahagbon, Osarodion Ogie, John Inegbedion and Aihanuwa Eregie are members.

 

Others are Joe Okojie, Igbinidu Inneh, Joseph Eboigbe, Taiwo Akerele, Sen. Domingo Obende, Aisosa Amadasun and Rev. Emmanuel Egharevba.

 

Elder Pius Omofuma, Theo Okoh, Ben Ogbebor, Mrs Magdalene Ogbebulu, Mrs Benedicta Attoh, Osaze Ojo and Ahmed Mamudu are also members.

 

The incoming governor Obaseki won election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress on Sept. 28.  (NAN)
