Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Service, DSS on Saturday announced the arrest of notorious criminals, principally Niger Delta militants, kidnap gangs and members of Boko Haram insurgents in different parts of the country.

Key among the alleged the gangs/ syndicates arrested across the country was one Jones Abiri, aka General Akotebe Darikoko, the alleged leader of Joint Revolutionary Council of Niger Delta Liberation Force, JNDLF.
