Brain damaged Governor Danbaba Suntai, who arrived Abuja, the Nigerian capital Saturday from the UK, where he had gone for another medical therapy, turned a PR nightmare for his handlers, when he missed his cue, in a short interaction with the press.

He did not know where he was coming from.

The Governor of Taraba state, was to simply thank his ‘well wishers’ on arrival, but he started by saying that he just ‘arrived from Abuja’.

The press meeting was abruptly terminated.

Suntai had been incapacitated since October 2012, after he sustained a critical injury following a plane crash in Yola, Adamawa state. His deputy, Umaru Garba, has been acting since then as the governor.
